Meet our Board Members 

Tamara Lamb, GEHTHS Chair

Tamara is a Paralegal and the Legal Department Administrator at AtlantiCare. She is also the Executive Director of the Atlantic County Bar Association. She has been a resident of Egg Harbor Township her entire life. Her great- great grandfather, Jonathan Adams, was one of the original settlers in the Township and her grandfather Charles Maxwell, an area builder, founded the Farmington Volunteer Fire Company.

Pamela Maurer Tyson, GEHTHS Vice Chair

Pamela is a professional graphic designer who has lived in the Township with her husband Tony since 1977. She became active with the GEHTHS while involved with the EHT 300th Anniversary Celebrations in 2010. Pamela designed and produced the two books recording EHT resident’s reactions to the Covid 19 pandemic.

Adrienne “Dee” Landgraf, GEHTHS Secretary & Parliamentarian

Dee came to Egg Harbor Township as a transplant from Morris County, NJ in 1971 when she married Max Landgraf III. Her father-in-law, Max Landgraf Jr. was EHT’s mayor in 1944. She served on the EHT Committee, school board, and planning and zoning boards. 

Janice Thornton Cambron, GEHTHS Treasurer

Janice has lived in Egg Harbor Township since the 1950’s. She joined the Greate Egg Harbour Township Historical Society during the 300th Year Anniversary celebrations.  

Lynn Karen Wood, GEHTHS Historian

Lynn, an Egg Harbor Township resident since 1963, has been active with the Egg Harbor Township Historical Society since 2008. She was an active member with the EHT 300th Anniversary committee. She co-authored the book “Journey Through Time in Egg Harbor Township NJ” with June Sheridan, and in 2010 Lynn created a DVD on the history of Egg Harbor Township. She actively records oral histories of local residents and contributes historical photos to local publications. Lynn’s family built and ran Adventure Village, a family attraction in Egg Harbor Township during the 1960’s.

Lisa Press, GEHTHS Museum & Research Library Curator

Lisa is a lifelong resident of Egg Harbor Township; her family has lived here for generations. Her Dad was the Superintendent of Public Works and some of the roads we drive on today, he plowed through for the very first time. Lisa was a member of the first graduating class of Egg Harbor Township High School. Lisa and her husband raised their son in a home a block away from where she grew-up. She is a member of the Cardiff Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.

Carol Jo Martin, GEHTHS Librarian

Carol has been a life-long resident of Egg Harbor Township. Her parents owned Uncle Dick’s Family Market located in Bargaintown and Uncle Dick’s Museum in Scullville. She is a member of the General Lafayette Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Lou Della Barca, GEHTHS Director

Lou and his wife Kay moved to Egg Harbor Township in 1974.  Lou began teaching in Egg Harbor Township in 1970 and became an elementary school principal for the outlying first and second grade schools. He served as principal of the Clayton Davenport Elementary School for 13 years. He has been a member of the school board since 2010. Lou was also active with the EHT 300th Anniversary committee.

Leah Drobel, GEHTHS Director

Leah was on the committee for 300th Anniversary in 2010 and has been a board member since. She moved from Somers Point to EHT in 1979. In 2001, because of her love of historical buildings, she and her husband John moved into an 1820’s house in English Creek which was home to Walter & Etta English many decades ago. 

Lee Portnoy, GEHTHS Director

Lee moved to Egg Harbor Township in 1980. Her Egg Harbor Township roots go deep as her father, Albert Fanslau, was born and raised next to the Farmington School. The land where the house once stood is now part of the AC Expressway. Her background is advertising copy writing and sales management

Nicholas Seppy, GEHTHS Direct

Nicholas is a lifelong resident of Egg Harbor Township. He currently serves on the Egg Harbor Township School Board (2021-present) and is a member of the Egg Harbor Township Municipal Alliance (2020- present). In addition to this, he is a resident of McKee City and cares for the rich history of our area.
