In our “Villages” Room you can discover more about which “village” of the township you live in and view the memorabilia and framed pictures on the walls from early businesses, restaurants, churches, schools, and more.

The 8 Original Villages include Bargaintown, Cardiff, English Creek, Farmington, McKee City, Scullville, Steelmanville, and West Atlantic City

Shore Mall Display

The Shore Mall, known as Searstown Mall in the 1960’s, offered many family-oriented activities and events for the community into the early 1990’s. The GEHTHS museum’s collection includes large scrapbooks containing photos, ads, and news articles. Our collection is dated from the late 1960s and continues into the early 2000s. In 2013 the Steinbach time capsule was unearthed and donated to the museum. For a virtual tour of the Shore Mall collection click here.
